Tory Games is a successful businessman, the owner of an industrial software company. His life is full of prosperity and joy, but something is missing. Tory tries to find his purpose in life.

Tory Games is Viator, an alien soul trapped in a human form. Through spiritual encounters, Viator’s memories resurface, revealing his past lives (as a ninja assassin, a Nazi officer, and more). He realizes that he has not always been a good man, and that is why his soul has lost energy points. To regain his points, he needs to do good deeds so that his soul can return back home.

When Viator’s gamer friend Tibor arrives on Earth incarnated as Agent Torn, a governmental assassin, their paths intertwine. Torn is assigned to eliminate witnesses who are exposing corruption at a nuclear power plant, a long-term customer of Tory’s firm. After one witness is killed another witness seeks Tory’s help. Now, Tory knows that to fulfil his life’s purpose he must act, expose this crime and protect another witness from agent Torn. Will Tory succeed to protect the witness and how will the final showdown between two aliens end?

Director’s statement

My motivation to direct VIATOR comes from a deeply personal place: a fascination with the questions of who we are, why we exist, and how our choices shape the world around us. This film speaks to the core of what drew me to filmmaking: the ability to use storytelling to explore universal truths and inspire audiences to reflect on their own lives.

VIATOR is not just a story; it’s a journey, one that delves into themes of identity, free will, and the eternal struggle for purpose. I was captivated by the idea of a character who seemingly has everything yet feels an unshakable emptiness. Tory Games’  search for meaning mirrors the questions I have often asked myself about the balance between ambition and authenticity, success and fulfillment.

Directing this film allows me to merge my love for thought-provoking narratives with my passion for visual storytelling. The screenplay offers a rich canvas to explore striking contrasts: the sharp, controlled world of Tory’s corporate life versus the dreamlike, ethereal spaces of his spiritual awakening. These visual juxtapositions resonate with the film’s central conflict and provide a powerful means to engage the audience emotionally and intellectually.

But beyond the aesthetics, my motivation lies in the impact this story can have. VIATOR challenges viewers to consider the choices they make and the legacies they leave behind. It’s a film that asks: Are we truly free, or do we live within constructs that limit our potential? These are questions I grapple with, and I believe they are more relevant than ever in our complex modern world.

In directing VIATOR, my hope is to craft an experience that moves, inspires, and lingers, inviting audiences to see themselves reflected in Tory’s journey and to explore their own paths with renewed purpose.

Author’s & Producer’s statement

In all years writing various publications I’ve never told the story that I wanted to tell. That is about to change now. So, I decided to write a spec screenplay in sci-fi genre. My background in physics helped me in depth with the screenplay and to introduce new science-fiction ideas.

By the way, let me give you an insight into what this movie is about & why there is more for you here than you might think. Have you ever felt yourself like you are in the game? And the reality around you was constructed for you? Are our life journeys reality or merely a game or both?

This though brought me to the idea of VIATOR, an extraterrestrial gamer trapped in a point-based simulation on Earth, incarnated as a human. Points are only revealed when all information is known. Good, evil, and truth are deferred until the game is over.

This is a story about morality beyond mankind, seen through the eyes of an alien learning right from wrong the hard way. The fact that points are Galactical – not terrestrial, shows that good deeds transcend the Universe. Thus, the rules of the game are Galactical rules and not how humans interpret them at a specific point of time.

If you’re interested in high concept action driven sci-fi with philosophical stakes, then join the journey with us and become a part of it.
